• Navigate to the left of the window and click on ‘Display.’
• You will see the available options as boxes. Right-click on the option you wish to adjust. 
• Choose ‘Resolution’ from the drop-down menu box. 
• Select what works best for you and save your changes. 

Assign the Monitor Representation Style

• On a plain desktop, right-click and select ‘Display settings.’
• Navigate to the left of the window and click on ‘Display.’
• You will see the available options as boxes. Right-click on any presentation option of your choice. 
• Select ‘Multiple displays’ from the drop-down menu box. 
• Choose one of the four options that will appear before you. Your possibilities include a duplicate of one viewing space, an extension to show both, or the disability of one of each.
• Save your changes.

Fix the Monitor Position

• On a plain desktop, right-click and select ‘Display settings.’
• Navigate to the left of the window and click on ‘Display.’
• You will see the available choices indicated as boxes. 
• Make sure the primary presentation preference is on the left so you can easily scroll from left to right, – especially if the two choices are set to extend under it. 
• If it isn’t already on the left, you only have to click and drag to move the position of the desired screen (indicated as boxes)
• In the case that your monitor does not identify which box is the primary presentation screen preference (that is, 1), click the link that says ‘identity.’
• Save your changes.
